What Makes Our Camps So Special?
Camp Mt Crags, Camp Gilmore, and Wilderness Camp. These residential camps offer six days of recreational and educational programs for youths ages 7-16 in a wholesome Christian atmosphere. Here campers have an opportunity-perhaps for the first time- to appreciate nature in a supervised safe outdoor setting. Each year approximately 2000 children experience Camp Mt Crags and Camp Gilmore and Wilderness Camp.
Separate camp experiences are offered for different ages, allowing campers to learn teamwork and cooperation. They have a chance to make lasting friendships while learning to grow in their own lives within this Christian environment.
In this atmosphere campers receive the protection, supervision and special attention to which they are entitled. All camp activities are supervised by trained, qualified and experienced staff as recommended by the American Camping Association. Our programs are accredited by the ACA and have been specifically designed for children from all backgrounds. Full time nurses are in attendance and a doctor is on call at all times.
Whether they are singing around the campfire or spending a quiet moment with a caring counselor, campers always have something to do and someone to be with. The special commitment of a staff willing to give their hearts allows campers to enjoy themselves in a positive and friendly atmosphere.
At Camp Mt Crags and Camp Gilmore children can participate in a variety of activities including the following:
Archery

Rock Climbing Wall
Campfire
Music
Drama
Nature
Arts & Crafts
Soccer

Swimming
